John David Herlihy Bio

JD Herlihy is a new instructor in the Medical Professions program, bringing both research training and industry experience into the classroom. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Science, where his work spanned cell and molecular biology, neuroscience, and inflammation. He spent more than 15 years with life science companies, bringing new innovative products to advance research and clinical biomedicine before moving into education. Now in his second year teaching at a technical center, JD helps students build the scientific foundation and hands-on skills to prepare for their future healthcare careers and advance their educational ambitions.
