Ashley Hart Bio

My name is Ashley Hart, and I am one of the four Lab Assistants at Central Vermont Career Center (CVCC). As a proud alumna of technical education, having earned a Completer Certificate in a two-year Human Services program from River Bend Career and Technical Center in Bradford, Vermont, I deeply appreciate the value of technical education within our community. Following my technical education, I transitioned directly into the workforce and am currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences.

I am originally from Newbury, Vermont, where I have established my home with my wonderful husband and two amazing children. I have always had a profound affection for both animals and people. One of my long-term aspirations is to live on a farm where I can cultivate an extensive garden to support our local food banks and care for an unlimited (within reason) variety of animals, with my husband’s support, of course.

With 15 years of experience in the nursing field—ranging from long-term geriatric care and restorative rehabilitation to trauma, orthopedics, and plastic surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC)—I bring a deep understanding of empathy, patience, and meticulous attention to detail and constant observation. These qualities seamlessly integrate into my approach to teaching.

My tenure at Central Vermont Career Center has exceeded my expectations in terms of excitement and learning opportunities. I eagerly anticipate what the future holds and look forward to supporting our staff and students, while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.
