Ryan McCormick Bio

As CVCC's Integrated Academics Humanities Instructor, I bring many years of experience in education and learning. I spent ten years at Harwood Union High School teaching a wide range of Social Studies courses for students in grades 9-12. Five of those years were in a team taught Global Studies course covering Global Citizenship and English content. I also spent a year at Montpelier High School in their Flexible Pathways Department working with students taking Community Based Learning and Dual Enrollment opportunities. 

 

A lifelong Vermonter, I grew up in Montpelier and then attended the University of Vermont for both undergrad and graduate school - where I received a Master of Arts in Teaching, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction. I also worked for the State of Vermont in various roles in both the Agency of Transportation and Agency of Education. When I'm not working, I enjoy watching movies, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
