Exploratory Technology

What We Do

Exploratory Technology is a program that allows 9th and 10th grade students to explore the trades the CVCC has to offer! Through collaborations, industry field trips, and relevant projects, students will be able to find the career pathway that they find most interesting. Students will shadow each program to continue to learn about each trade. Students will balance time honing academic skills and develop crucial employability skills. Students will partake in community service projects in various forms to help continue their critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving skills. Exploratory Students can expect to be challenged and to gain skills needed to be successful at CVCC. In addition, students will learn academic skills such as personal financing, humanities, trade specific math and science.

* All Exploratory Technology students will be required to safely operate hand and power tools as they complete technical projects. *
