Exploratory Technology

What We Do

Exploratory Technology is a program that guides 9th and 10th grade students with exploring the programming offered at CVCC! Through collaborations, industry field trips, and relevant projects, students will begin to unveil career pathways in their veins of interest. To help solidify their career choices students will shadow each program to ensure their future at CVCC is aligned with their post-secondary goals. Students will also spearhead community service projects in various forms to help continue their critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving skills. Exploratory Students can expect to be challenged and to gain skills needed to be successful at CVCC, their desired career path and any and all employment opportunities they gain. In addition, students will learn academic skills such as personal financing, humanities, trade specific math and science.

* All Exploratory Technology students will be required to safely operate hand and power tools as they complete technical projects. *
