What We Do
The Early Childhood Education program provides students with in-depth, hands-on experiences in childcare, childhood education, and development, preparing them for technical training, postsecondary education, and/or entry-level employment in the Early Childhood Education field.
Additionally, once they have completed the basic certifications for entry-level early childhood educators (CPR/1st aid, Mandated Reporter, VT Orientation Training, VT Health and Safety TNG, and background check), they participate in a fieldwork experience of approximately 6 hours per week, where they actively engage with local early childhood education programs.
